ABOUT ME
I’m a freelance composer/arranger, piano accompanist, church organist, and private instructor based in the Detroit / Ann Arbor area. I work with universities, high schools, community groups, religious organizations, and independent musicians to collaborate at the highest levels for writing, accompanying, and teaching.

My writing includes pieces for choir, piano, organ, handbells, solo instruments, and instrumental ensembles. Arrangements of mine have been performed in school, church, and concert settings and span a wide variety of genres. Recent accompanying work includes playing for voice lessons at the top-rated University of Michigan School of Music (Ann Arbor, MI - Go Blue!); for concerts, competitions, and other events for the award-winning music program of the Walled Lake School District (Commerce, MI); and for the sold-out concerts of the PRISM Men's Chorus (Royal Oak, MI), which had up to 150 singers. I run a private piano teaching studio out of my home, which includes kids, adults, and prospective college music majors, where I offer both in-person and virtual lessons.

I have a BS degree in math and an MS degree in engineering - not a typical track for a professional musician, I know! I've been active in the music scene all my life and have always made it a priority to challenge myself and keep up my skills. After I got my engineering Master's degree I decided to take a chance and see if I could make a full-time career in music work. I did, and I've never looked back!
I’m passionate about what I do and enjoy all types of music. Whether you’re interested in my arranging work, hiring me as an accompanist, or taking lessons from me, I look forward to working with you.
