CUSTOM ARRANGEMENTS
Experience
I’ve arranged music in a variety of genres and am comfortable writing for soloists or any combination of instruments or voices. Past arranging projects include:

-
Writing simplified versions of songs for beginning piano students
-
Adding an orchestration to a choral piece
-
Adding piano accompaniment to an a cappella song
-
Arranging well-known tunes for instrumental trios, quartets, and quintets
-
Creating a unique version of a Spiritual, patriotic song, or holiday favorite
-
Customizing a piece for musicians at a wedding or funeral service
-
Working with LGBTQ+ choruses to arrange music for their unique voicings
Pricing
The price of a custom arrangement varies, depending on the number of parts, the length, overall complexity, and the timeline for completion.

For a standard-length (2-4 min.) piece, pricing starts at $50 per staff. Instruments like piano and harp are considered 2-staff instruments. For choral parts, sometimes two parts can share a staff (Soprano/Alto), but in more complex pieces each part may need its own staff.

I usually need 2 weeks to complete a small arranging project and 1 month to complete a medium or large project. There may be an additional fee if you need your piece completed in less time.

I can lower the fee for writing arrangements that I think could be re-sold to a broader customer base.
